"My dad and I were just talking about it, and I felt like that was the best fit for me. I pretty much decided when I was up there. I wanted to talk about it with my dad a little bit more, and he wanted me to commit and I wanted to." The 6-1, 225-pound Davis is a bruising running back, who is rated as a three-star recruit and the No. 24 rising senior prospect in Alabama. He ran the ball 192 times for 1,432 yards (7.5 yards per carry) and 14 touchdowns as a junior for a team that went 11-3 made it to the state ti- tle game in Alabama's Class 7A (larg- est) division. He also added seven catches for 114 yards and another score, but missed the state title game with an injury — a large factor in his team's 35-21 loss to Hoover High School. "I called the head coach [Har- baugh], and I shared the name to him to look at the film," Prattville recruit- ing coordinator Antonio "Bam" Rich- ards said. "About 30 minutes later, he called and said they wanted to give him a full ride. Coach liked his run- ning style; Coach liked those big legs. That's his type of back with his of- fense. He had all those intangibles."
