  COMMITMENT PROFILE Michigan head coach John Beilein and his staff have proven once again they'll leave no rock unturned in their search for talent, even if those stones are thousands of miles away. Beilein traveled to Germany last No- vember to watch Moritz Wagner (6- 9, Rivals.com four-star prospect) of the Alba Berlin club team on a tip. Wagner officially visited in March for U-M's game with Rutgers and an- nounced his commitment to the Wol- verines via Twitter Easter Sunday. UNLV, Virginia and Arizona, among others, showed interest, but U-M was the only school Wagner visited. "I felt it," he said of his decision to commit. "It was easy. And the whole family thing is very impressive. "It's a perfect system. Everybody touches the ball, and they have great shooting. I love the several cutting options and back screen options. The three and four position is more or less the same. We're going to see what I play — maybe even a small five. Who knows? Step by step." Step one will be to arrive on cam- pus, which will probably be in June. He'll then start with strength coach Jon Sanderson on building his body and getting ready to compete with the Big Ten's bullies. NBA scouts told Rivals.com ana- lyst Eric Bossi Wagner would be a top 20 to 40 prospect if he were an American prep, and Bossi has since rated him on the lower end of that scale after watching film.
