PREP PROFILES Oakland (Calif.) Bishop O'Dowd outside linebacker Camilo Eifler has only been playing football for two years, but his freaky athleticism at 6-2 and 210 pounds and high IQ have earned him the No. 190 over- all national rank- i n g a c c o r d i n g t o R i v a l s . c o m . His abilities on t h e f i e l d h a v e also earned him a d o z e n o ff e r s t h r o u g h e a r l y April, and many other schools are paying attention to the four-star talent. Eifler recently took a trip during his spring break and checked out Duke, Vanderbilt, Louisville, Michigan and North- western before heading back west, and the Wolverines seemed to make quite an impression on the No. 33 player in California. "We went into The Big House, which was probably the highlight of the day," Eifler said. "I got to throw on the Michigan jersey and the helmet and the gloves, and that was amazing. It was a great time in there. "I had a smile on my face the whole time I was walking around campus. People were turning their heads and noticing us, and you could just tell that everyone loves Michigan football. They just wel- come you with open arms — it was just a great experience all around. There is such a rich history there, and you can feel that. It's something I'll definitely be thinking about when it comes to making my final decision." E i f l e r i s n ' t close to a deci- sion at this time, but it's clear that Michigan will be in the mix when the time comes. He said that he'd probably be back i n A n n A r b o r sometime during the fall for an official visit because he needs to see what The Big House is like during a game. He was blown away by an empty Michigan Sta- dium and knows that when it's full it would make an even bigger im- pression on him. "I loved it there, and I want to see what it's like for a game," he said. "I saw it on a Monday, so I saw it when it's not all dressed up. "I saw the everyday type of thing, students going to class and the workouts for the players and I loved that. I want to see what it's like as a football player when the lights are on and everyone is look- ing at you and it's time to perform." — Brandon Brown California Linebacker Can See Himself In Maize And Blue ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ Bishop O'Dowd High School Oakland, Calif.
