HONOR CORD PRESENTATION
AND GRADUATION SOCIAL
The ninth annual graduation social for fourth and fifth-year student-athletes was held at the John
Paul Jones Arena on May 15. Co-hosted by the Virginia Athletics Foundation and Athletics Academic
Affairs, this year's event celebrated over 140 student-athletes' accomplishments as graduating members
of the Class of 2015.
Associate athletics director for academic affairs Adrien Harraway gave the opening remarks. Head
coaches or other representatives from each sport presented graduating student-athletes with a special
orange, white and blue honor cord to distinguish their contributions to Virginia athletics during Com-
mencement. Thank you to the families, coaches, donors and academic advisors for helping these students
succeed both on and off the field.
