"During that construction, there will be some challenges with parking, as
there always are. We'll have some moving pieces there with regard to parking
during the next year or two.
"When it's done, we're not only going to have as many spots as we have
down there now, we're also going to add another 400 down there just for
athletics. Right now, that operates as a commuter parking lot. At the end of
this, we'll have plenty of parking for everybody."
The Athletics South Competition and Performance Project will include a new outdoor
track, indoor track, performance center and lacrosse stadium for the Wolverines, and it
is set to be completed by the end of 2017.
