MICHIGAN RECRUITING will get a shot to play linebacker, rather than starting his career as a fullback. Delray Beach (Fla.) Atlantic cor- nerback Antwaine Richardson is a 6-0, 168-pound three-star that is un- ranked at his position and within the state of Florida. He committed to Michigan June 12, days after earning a scholarship offer at the Wolver- ines' South Florida satellite camp. He will join former teammate Shel- ton Johnson (a freshman defensive end at U-M) a semester earlier than expected. A number of uncommitted recruits who are high on Michigan may also be added to the roster of early en- rollees, should they pick the Maize and Blue. Boulder (Colo.) Fairview four-star defensive end Carlo Kemp plans to join the school of his choice (Notre Dame, UCLA and Colorado are his other finalists) in January. Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy five- star tight end Isaac Nauta is another who could enroll early at the school of his choice. Ole Miss, Georgia, TCU and USC join Michigan on the list of schools he'll officially visit. Given the NCAA's limit of 25 "initial counters" per year in col- lege football, Michigan will have to backdate some of the early enrollees to the 2015 class (as is allowed for players joining midyear) in order to sign more than 25, which they're expected to do.
