naling he may be ready for more.
Michigan's fullbacks looked steady
early on, with fifth-year senior Joe
Kerridge demonstrating good hands
(four catches, 27 yards) in third-down
situations. Senior Sione Houma
posted a one-yard touchdown burst
against UNLV.
THE OFFENSIVE LINE
IS IMPROVING
Michigan's offensive line has en-
dured an unrelenting spotlight over
the past two seasons. The Wolver-
ines' overall inability to generate a
strong running game from its tail-
backs and the apocryphal application
by U-M quarterbacks for the Witness
Junior De'Veon Smith has been up and down, but leads the Wolverines with 206 rushing
yards and four total touchdowns.
