  MICHIGAN FOOTBALL • Unless fifth-year senior quarterback Jake Rudock suffers a significant injury or flounders on a grand scale, Michigan fans will not see junior Shane Morris this season; the Wolverines would like to redshirt the 6-3, 208-pounder. Redshirt freshman Wilton Speight came in to take a knee in the waning mo- ments of Michigan's 35-7 win over Oregon State and played the final offensive Season Buzz Redshirt freshman safety Jabrill Peppers has played a variety of roles on defense and special teams. After three games, he had recorded 12 tackles, two stops for loss and one pass broken up, and has healthy averages on both kickoff (26.0 yards per attempt) and punt (9.5) returns.
