One year later, the hole rout- ing will be back to normal, but the clubhouse will be better than par. So says senior associate ath- letic director Rob Rademacher, who explained that as soon as the 2015 football season ends, Michigan will be tearing down the present clubhouse off Stadium Boulevard and building a new one. For 2016, a maintenance building being constructed behind Michigan's tennis facilities at the South Athletic Campus will serve as the clubhouse. But by the start of the 2017 golf season, the clubhouse venue will return to normal with a brand new facility on site. "We're going to build another clubhouse that will be a little more ele- vated," Rademacher said. "We'll have an opportunity not only for the golfers, but for banquet users. It will create a space in town in which weddings and birthday parties and business meetings will all be in an area on the second floor that will be a really unique setting, a beautiful setting, overlooking the golf course". Michigan's current golf clubhouse will be torn down once the 2015 football season ends, and the new one is expected to be completed by the start of the 2017 golf season with several new amenities.
