Career Highlights: Played all 33 games and aver- aged 17.3 minutes per game … Averaged 4.9 points and 4.0 rebounds per game … Led the team by shoot- ing 45.5 percent (51 of 112) from the field … Scored in 32 of 33 games and paced the squad in rebounding five times … Scored the game-winning layup in the WNIT victory over ECU March 22 … Along with Ashley Williams, was named NC State's Co-Sixth Man of the Year … Ranked No. 24 nationally among wing players by ESPN … Scored a 90 in ESPN's recruiting rankings … Played for John Overton High School and the Tennessee Flight in AAU … In addition to her time on the court, also was an accomplished cross country runner in high school. ■ Lena Niang 24 • Forward • 6-2 Freshman • Bowie, Md. Career Highlights: Prior to NC State, named preseason All-Met, a Mc- Donald's High School All- American nominee and to the Title IX All-Tournament Team as her senior squad went 24-12 in 2015 … Won a national title with her team in 2014 while aver - aging 14 points and 11 re- bounds per game … Rated by ESPNW as a three-star recruit with a score of 90 … Ranked as the No. 19 forward and No. 92 overall prospect in the class of 2015 by Blue Star Report. ■ Amber Richardson 23 • Guard • 6-0 Freshman • Garner, N.C. Career Highlights: Prior to NC State, she was named a McDonald's High School All-America nomi- nee and earned a spot on the All-Greater Neuse River Conference first team as a senior after her high school team went 26-4 en route to becoming a state runner up … A four-star standout who earned a scout's grade of 95 from ESPNW … Ranked as the No. 9 wing and No. 72 overall player in the class of 2015 … In 2014, earned a spot on The Raleigh News & Observer's All-Metro Team while leading her team to a conference championship … Also named Greater Neuse River Player of the Year and earned a place on the league's all-conference team in 2014. ■ Rydeiah "DD" Rogers 21 • Forward • 6-1 Freshman • Charlotte Career Highlights: Prior to NC State, averaged 10 points and 12 rebounds per game as a senior at My- ers Park High en route to earning first-team all-state honors, a team state cham- pionship (29-1 record) and McDonald's High School All- America nominee honors … A four-star recruit who scored a 95 from ESPNW … Tabbed as the No. 12 for - ward and the No. 63 overall player in the class of 2015 … During her junior season, averaged 16.0 points, 12.7 rebounds, 2.7 steals and 2.7 blocks per game en route to earning Associated Press All-State Prep Basketball Team honors and a spot on the All-Charlotte Observer Team … Junior team also won a state championship. ■ Carlee Schumacher 25 • Forward/Center • 6-1 Senior • Watertown, Wis. Career Highlights: Played in all 33 games, start- ing 32 … Averaged 23.5 minutes, 7.9 points (fourth on team) and 4.7 rebounds (second on team) per con- test … Scored in double figures eight times and re- bounded in double figures once … Led team in scor- ing once and in rebounding eight times … Recorded her first career double- double (19 points and 11 rebounds) in NC State's win over Coppin State Nov. 16 … Hit the game-winning shot through contact with five seconds left in NC State's win over Liberty Dec. 17 … Registered a career-high four blocks Jan. 22 versus UNC … Played a career-high 37 minutes at Charlotte Nov. 18 … Prior to NC State, played two seasons at Des Moines Area Community College, earning All-America honors each year … In 2013-14, her team finished with a 19-13 overall mark and a 10-6 conference record … Named league and national player of the week in February after averaging 31.0 points and 14.5 rebounds per game in two DMACC wins … During her first season at DMACC, recorded 20 doubles-doubles in 32 games, averaging 16.2 points, 11.4 rebounds and 4.6 blocks per contest while helping her team post a 24-8 record … Led the Iowa Community College Athletic Association in scoring, rebounding and blocked shots during her first season … Was named a first-team National Junior College Ath - letic Association Division II All-American following the 2012-13 season … Holds two DMACC records — most points in one season (522) and highest total rebounding average for one season (11.4 boards per game). ■ Miah Spencer 3 • Guard • 5-8 Junior • Decatur, Ga.
