2015-16 WOLFPACK BASKETBALL PREVIEW ■ Torin Dorn 2 • G So. • Charlotte • 6-6 • 205 Analysis: Dorn will sit out this season due to NCAA transfer re- quirements after arriving at NCSU following a year at Charlotte. He will redshirt and have three seasons of eligibility left starting next year. This marks the fifth straight offseason that the Pack has brought in a transfer on the perimeter. Dorn picked the Pack over Miami when he decided to leave Charlotte. Career Highlights: Named the Conference USA Freshman of the Year in 2014-15 … Led Charlotte and all Conference USA freshmen in scoring (12.0 points per game) … Had career highs of 26 points and 10 rebounds against Western Kentucky, his lone double-double from last year … Averaged 21.6 points, 5.0 rebounds and 5.6 assists per game as a senior at Charlotte's Vance High School and was named conference MVP … Also selected to play in the North Carolina High School Coaches' Association East-West All-Star Game in 2014. Coach's Corner: "This becomes a really important year for Torin. Physically, he's already a pretty gifted guy in terms of strength and quick - ness. … I eventually think he could play multiple positions. He could play off the ball or with the ball as a big, strong point guard at times.
