4 Different stadiums Notre Dame has played in at Philadelphia while going 15-1-1 in the city. LINCOLN FINANCIAL FIELD joined Franklin Field, JFK Stadium and Veterans Stadium among the four, but it was the first time in 22 years the Irish played in the City of Brotherly Love. 6 Straight games won by Notre Dame the week after a bye, improving its record to 7-1 under head coach Brian Kelly. The last such defeat was 31- 17 versus USC in 2011. 9.5 Tackles for loss by senior defensive line- man Sheldon Day after only eight games. That already is the most by a Notre Dame player since Stephon Tuitt had 13 (12 sacks) in 2012. 11 Red-zone turnovers by Notre Dame the past two seasons, six last year and five this sea- son during the 7-1 start — notably two interceptions in the 24-20 victory versus Temple. Those 11 turn- overs inside the opposition's 20 are the most by any team the past two years. 12-7-2 Record by Notre Dame in the last 50 seasons, starting with the famous 10-10 tie against Michigan State in 1966, against opponents that entered the game with a 7-0 or better mark. The Temple Owls were ranked No. 21 with a 7-0 ledger. 13 Wins by Notre Dame in the six-year Brian Kelly era after trailing in the fourth quar- ter, with three this year against Virginia, USC and Temple. That total is the most by any current coach in the Football Bowl Subdivision. 16-0 Record produced by Notre Dame in games played on Halloween. It is the lone date on which the Irish have played at least 10 times and are undefeated and untied. Second place is a 14-0-1 record on Oct. 9 while third is 15-0-2 on Nov. 18. 143 Rushing yards by sophomore quarter- back DeShone Kizer, highlighted by a 79-yard touchdown in the second quarter. It is the second highest single-game total by an Irish QB, behind reserve Bill Etter's 146-yard effort during a 47-0 win versus Navy — which also included a 79-yard touchdown run. The longest run ever by a Notre Dame quarterback was an 80-yard touchdown by freshman Blair Kiel at Arizona in 1980 — but that was off a fake punt. Lincoln Financial Field became the fourth different football venue in Philadelphia the Irish have played a game in, joining Franklin Field, JFK Stadium and Veterans Stadium. PHOTO BY BILL PANZICA
