FOOTBALL RECRUITING ROUNDUP "They're definitely going to be in it until the end," McCulloch said. "I just liked everything about the visit." Notre Dame is in need of linebackers this cycle, and McCulloch said that the coaches brought that up very early in the visit. He had a chance to not only speak with linebackers coach Mike Elston and defensive coordinator Brian VanGorder, but also meet with head coach Brian Kelly and athletics director Jack Swarbick. "Coach Kelly was just saying that it doesn't get any better than Notre Dame with the academics here, and football," McCulloch said. "He was like, 'I know you're high on academics, and you can't go wrong with a degree at Notre Dame.' That stood out." The 6-2, 235-pound Texas native plans to announce a decision at the Under Armour All-American Game Jan. 2 in Orlando, Fla. He will also take visits to Florida, Stanford and Michigan, and is considering Texas, Texas A&M, TCU, Alabama, LSU, Auburn, Arkansas, Oregon, UCLA, Florida State and Ohio State. — Andrew Ivins Follow @BGI_aivins on Twitter for daily recruiting updates available on BlueandGold.com!
