9 Consecutive games to start the 2015 season that Notre Dame totaled at least 400 yards of total offense. Going back to 1950, that is the first time the Fighting Irish achieved that feat. It had eight in a row during its 8-0 start in 1970, led by quarterback Joe Theismann, but finished with only 227 yards in the ninth game, a 3-0 victory over No. 7 LSU. The low this year during the 8-1 start was 432 in the 24-22 loss at current No. 1 Clemson. 22 Minimum points scored by Notre Dame in each game dur- ing its 8-1 start this season. This marked only the second time since 1950 that has occurred in the first nine games. The 1987 team, head coach Lou Holtz's second with the Fighting Irish, also achieved the feat, but then managed only 30 points total in its con- secutive losses to Penn State (21-20), Miami (24-0) and Texas A&M in the Cotton Bowl (35-10) to end the campaign. 99.2 Fielding percentage by Arizona Diamondback center fielder and former Notre Dame player A.J. Pollock (2007-09) to earn a Major League Baseball Gold Glove Nov. 11. He had 347 putouts with five assists and only three errors. Further- more, his 192 hits in 151 games were the most in one season by a former Fighting Irish player in MLB. Carl Yastrzemski, who briefly attended Notre Dame in 1958 but did not play varsity baseball, had 189 hits while winning the Triple Crown for the Boston Red Sox in 1967. 200 Games played by Notre Dame's football team against Atlantic Coast Conference members after hosting Wake Forest Nov. 14. The lone conference Notre Dame has played more often is the Big Ten with 386 — but none this year. The ACC mark, however, has become skewed because it now includes recent ad- ditions Pitt (70 meetings), Boston College (21 contests entering the Nov. 21 game this year) and Syracuse (seven games), all of whom used to be in the Big East. 2013 The most recent season, until this year, that three different Notre Dame players rushed for at least 100 yards in a game: senior running back C.J. Prosise (five times), fresh- man running back Josh Adams (two) and sophomore quarterback DeShone Kizer (one) through Nov. 7. Two years ago, the Irish had a trio of running backs that surpassed 100 yards rushing in one contest apiece: Cam McDaniel (117 versus BYU), Tarean Folston (140 versus Navy) and George Atkinson III (148 versus Oklahoma).
