3 Times in the last 26 years, or since 1990, that Notre Dame has finished a season unbeaten at home. The 6-0 ledger this year also occurred in 1998 and 2012. In the 26 seasons prior, from 1964-89, Notre Dame finished unbeaten and untied at home nine times. 19-0 Record under Brian Kelly when Notre Dame does not commit a turnover, which happened for the third time this year for the Irish. The other two were in the first two games, versus Texas and Virginia. 21-3 Record at home by the graduating Notre Dame senior class. That ties it with the 1991 (1987-90 football seasons) and 1992 (1988-91) senior classes for the most victories at home over a four-year period. The 1991 group fin- ished 21-2 while the 1992 class was 21-3. The losses from 2012-15 in Notre Dame Stadium were Okla- homa in 2013, and Northwestern and Louisville in the final two home contests in 2014. 30 Games since Notre Dame returned an in- terception for a touchdown, until sopho- more defensive end Andrew Trumbetti did in the second quarter. This had been the first Notre Dame team since 1987 to produce 400 yards total offense in its first nine games, and only the second since 1950.
