"Notre Dame is obviously the far superior team in almost every aspect," Hoffses said. "The BC defense has held some really good teams to 20 points, and they'll have to do that to have any shot against Notre Dame, because the offense is just not capable of scoring more than 17 in a game. "The one wild card is obviously everyone gets pumped to play Notre Dame, but BC really considers them a rival. Since they're out of contention for a bowl game, this is a Saturday night game at Fenway Park and it's on prime- time TV, this now is their bowl game. The coaches will go all-in on this game. "I think BC will actually be able to keep it close a lot of the game behind the defense, but Notre Dame will pull away by a couple of scores late." ✦
