Beilein, 62, is 166-110 overall and
78-66 in Big Ten play during his eight-
year tenure at Michigan and has led
his teams to five NCAA Tournament
appearances, including trips to the
2013 Final Four and 2014 Elite Eight.
"I look forward to winning more
Big Ten championships and making
another run somewhere along the
line, hopefully — a good run in the
NCAA Tournament — and still grad-
uate every guy and represent the uni-
versity the way we want to represent
it," he said.
His extension should work to the
program's advantage in that respect,
allowing him to bring in more top-
