Ray Jackson: The wing lived in the shadow of the rest of the Fab Five before breaking out in 1994-95, averaging 15.8 points and 3.0 assists per game. He also shot a career-best 30.8 percent from three-point range, up from 20.6 his junior year. Jerod Ward: A small forward, Ward — the nation's top prep recruit when he pledged to the Wolverines — struggled to meet the hype in his first three years, hindered by knee injuries. He averaged 8.3 points and 3.5 rebounds per game as a junior, but improved to 13.1 and 6.1 in his senior season (1997-98). He earned first-team All-Big Ten Tournament Team honors in leading the Wolverines to the inaugural Big Ten Tournament title and enjoyed a long career overseas. Chris Young: The center averaged 2.6 points and 3.4 rebounds as a freshman in 1998-99 and 8.6 points and 4.9 rebounds as a junior, but the numbers grew to 11.4 points and 5.7 rebounds during his senior year (2001-02). He averaged 12 points in Big Ten play and put up 25 points in a near-loss to Duke in 2001. Young has enjoyed a long career overseas. — Chris Balas Ray Jackson emerged from the shadow of his Fab Five classmates during the 1994-95 season when he averaged 15.8 points and 3.0 assists per game.
