Right now I'm good." — Chris Balas BASKETBALL NOTEBOOK • Freshman forward Moritz Wagner scored his first career points for the Wol- verines, tallying two in his six minutes of action in the season opener Nov. 13. He also grabbed a pair of rebounds in the 70-44 victory over Northern Michigan at Crisler Center. • Michigan moved to 11-0 all time in games versus Northern Michigan. • This season marks the University of Michigan's 100th year of basketball. The Wolverines celebrated by making head coach John Beilein 9-0 in season open- ers with the 26-point win over Northern Michigan. • Redshirt sophomore wing Duncan Robinson made his debut with the Wolverines against Northern Michigan, after transferring in last year. He went scoreless, but secured four rebounds in the win. • Junior point guard Derrick Walton Jr. and Robinson each notched their Michigan career highs in points during the Wolverines' 88-68 victory over Elon Nov. 16 at Crisler Center. Walton poured in 24 points, while Robinson scored 19. Walton's previous career best (22) came against Hillsdale in 2014. He also set new career marks in field goals (eight) and three-pointers made (six). • Junior wing Zak Irvin played his first game since undergoing an offseason back procedure. He recorded three assists in the win against Elon, while going 0 of 5 from the floor in 15 minutes of action. • The Elon contest marked the "mainland matchup" in the Battle 4 Atlantis. The Wolverines head to the Bahamas during Thanksgiving week to enter the championship bracket tournament. • Michigan now stands 1-0 all time against Elon. • Senior guard Caris LeVert tied a career high with four steals against Elon. • Michigan is now scheduled to play in the 2017 Maui Jim Invitational Nov. 20- 22 at the Lahaina Civic Center. Other teams in the field will be California, Chami- nade, LSU, Marquette, Notre Dame, Virginia Commonwealth and Wichita State.
