UNDER THE DOME Getting To Know … JUNIOR GUARD STEVE VASTURIA Nickname: "Just Steve." Dorm: "Siegfried Hall." Major: "Business management and consulting." Favorite place around South Bend to eat: "I like Penn Station a lot. I get a chicken teriyaki sandwich, with basically just whatever is normally on it." Favorite television show: "All time, my favorite is 'The Sopranos.' I'm from New Jersey, and it's based in New Jersey. I've always been intrigued by it." Favorite movie: "'Swingers' with Vince Vaughn. It's pretty funny." Toughest player he's played against: "[Former Irish star] Jerian Grant, just from playing against him for two years. He has a plethora of moves. He can do pretty much everything, so that makes him a difficult matchup." Favorite part of playing for Notre Dame: "Just being able to play in front of so many fans, and the unique experiences here." Notre Dame In Holding Pattern For Demetris Robertson One month after National Signing Day Feb. 3, Notre Dame held out hope that it could still sign 6-0, 180-pound five-star wideout Demetris Robertson from Savannah, Ga. His fifth and final official visit is scheduled be to the in-state Georgia Bulldogs March 18. He has already visited Alabama (where he originally committed in 2014), California, Georgia Tech and Notre Dame (for its 2015 season opener versus Texas Sept. 5). However, Robertson was scheduled to re-take his SAT March 5 in hopes of obtaining a score to gain admission into Stanford — but the result reportedly won't be available until May. "My academics are the most important thing to me," he told Jeff Sentell of DawgNation.com. "A lot of people might not believe it, but that's what I'm basing my decision off of." Robertson's brother, Michael, told Blue & Gold Illustrated in late February that Stanford was the leader for the nation's No. 1 athlete and No. 8 overall prospect in the class of 2016, with Notre Dame second followed by Alabama, Georgia and Georgia Tech. As of March 8, however, there was still no timetable set for Robertson to take a trip to Stanford or make a final decision, so the Irish are left to wait, hope and see what happens. — Lou Somogyi Robertson — Rivals' No. 1 athlete and No. 8 overall player nationally — noted that academics are one of the top considerations in his col- lege decision, which put Stanford and Notre Dame in his top two as of late February.
