admitted his football future appeared to
be on the scrap heap after a disappoint‑
ing, uneventful spring.
So naturally, after Zaire's injury, Kizer
responded with a marvelous campaign,
posting the seventh‑best pass efficiency
mark in a season at Notre Dame (149.95)
