the SEC schools like Alabama, Ole Miss and Mississippi State, and then Arkansas," Kingsley said. Kingsley's ability to protect the rim on defense became evident last year with the Arkansas Wings, especially while playing at the Nike Peach Jam in North Augusta, S.C., last year. The Wings will be making a return trip to the Peach Jam on July 18-21. "Shot blocking is a talent from God," Kingsley said. "The timing and everything is from God. That's how I feel about it." Kingsley first started playing basketball in the summer of 2007. He also played soccer growing up, and proved to be an intimidating sight at his height when he played his sopho- more year in high school. "I came over to the U.S. mainly for school- ing and to play basketball," Kingsley said. "I want to try and make it where I want to in life." Senior Center Sidy Djitte Could Be One To Watch Sidy Djitte was able to play on the national stage for the first time at the NBPA Camp June 14-16 at the University of Virginia. Djitte averaged 4.7 points and 6.2 rebounds per game, and played hurt on the last day of camp with his hand bandaged up. His ability to play physically, rebound and finish inside established him as a center to watch. Northwood Temple, but didn't get the chance to make an impact on the court until this past April with Upward Stars, a Spartanburg, S.C.-based traveling team. NC State was able to watch him at the Bob Gibbons Tournament of Champions in Suwanee, Ga., during the last weekend of the April. Other schools have quickly entered the picture. "Memphis, VCU, Wake Forest, North Carolina State, Xavier, are the schools I'm very interested in," said Djitte, 18. "I haven't decided where I'm going to go. I don't worry about that and have coaches that will take care of all that. "Playing with Upward Stars has helped me shine a little bit. People know me more." Djitte came to North Carolina to put him- self in position to play college basketball. "It's different, but it's still good," Djitte said. "I know some guys from home playing high school basketball in Las Vegas, two guys in Florida and one in Chicago. I've been play- ing basketball for six years. "When you are great here [in the U.S.] it's easier to find you than in my country.
