Ecuyer played in the Hula Bowl follow- ing his senior campaign and was an 18th- round selection in the 1959 NFL Draft by the New York Giants, but played line- backer in the Canadian Football League from 1959-67. Born in New Orleans, he was a 1959 graduate of the University of Notre Dame with a degree in business. Ecuyer became a vice president of investments with Pru- dential Securities.
