2016 MEN'S TENNIS NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP
TEAM CELEBRATION
On Oct. 22, 2016, Virginia Athletics and the Virginia Athletics Foundation co-hosted a brunch and ring
ceremony to honor the Men's Tennis team's 2016 National Championship. The event, held at Darden's
Saunders Hall, included tennis alumni, donors, relatives and friends of the program. Following the
brunch, Jon Oliver provided a welcome and head coach Brian Boland shared special highlights about
his team and their remarkable accomplishments. The program also featured the 2016 season and cham-
pionship highlight video and entertaining interviews with each championship team member by Scott
Beardsley, Dean of the Darden School of Business. At the conclusion of the program, the tennis staff
distributed championship rings to the team members, which they were able to wear for their on-field
recognition later that afternoon during the UNC vs. UVA football game.
