FOOTBALL RECRUITING ROUNDUP College Prep was able to take a summer trip to Notre Dame while doing a Midwest swing of Michi- gan and Ohio State. He may have not been prepared to narrow his list down upon heading back to the West Coast, but the Irish were able to make a strong enough impression on him that he plans on using an official visit to return to South Bend. While Central Florida and Florida look to have the edge going into the start of the season, Florida State, Georgia and Notre Dame are all on the list of finalists for the nation's No. 24 wide receiver, the No. 31 player in Florida and the No. 213 overall recruit in the land according to 247Sports. • Wide receiver Jordan Cunningham, who is tabbed as the No. 30 wide receiver nationally, the No. 36 player in Florida and the country's No. 227 overall prospect by 247Sports, hasn't been able to make it to South Bend yet for a visit, but the Irish remain as a contender for his services.
