BASKETBALL PREVIEW 2017-18 ■ Allerik Freeman 12 • G 5th-Sr. • Charlotte • 6-3 • 210 Analysis: Freeman is a graduate transfer from Baylor and will likely step into a large role for the Wolfpack. He is a good shooter that will be counted upon to be a scorer for the Pack on the perimeter. Career Highlights: Played in 99 games in three seasons at Baylor … Was third on the Bears' Sweet 16 team last year in scoring (9.7 points per game) and second in three-pointers made (44) … Scored a season-high 21 points in the NCAA Tournament first-round win over New Mexico State … Had a career-high 22 points at No. 25 Oregon during his redshirt sophomore season … Posted the sixth-best free throw percentage (85.3) in school history that season … Was a two-time Academic All-Big 12 selection at Baylor … Averaged 17.6 points, 5.8 rebounds, 4.3 assists and 1.3 steals a game for Charlotte Olympic High as a junior before transferring to play his last season at Findlay Prep in Henderson, Nev. … Was rated as a four-star prospect and the No. 81 overall player in the 2013 class by Rivals.com. If you do not see me on the basketball court, where would you most likely find me? On the ping pong table. Who is the funniest player on the team? Probably Malik [Abu]. In a few words, what was your first impression of coach Kevin Keatts? Father figure. If you knew you could have only one last meal, what would it be?
