CLASH OF THE TITANS They don't get any bigger than the "Clash at Crisler" Feb. 11. No. 4 Michigan hosted No. 2 Ohio State inside of the basketball arena and a school- record 8,303 fans packed it in for the wrestling ri- valry, breaking the program's old attendance mark of 5,200 set in 1967. Although the Wolverines fell 18-15 in the team score, several U-M grapplers secured victories that will be huge for Big Ten and NCAA Tournament seed- ing purposes. Redshirt sophomore 133-pounder Stevan Micic, who entered the bout ranked No. 5 nationally, earned the first Maize and Blue victory with a dominant 11-5 decision over undefeated No. 2 Luke Pletcher to avenge a loss from earlier this season; No. 7 redshirt junior Alec Pantaleo upset No. 5 Micah Jordan 12-7 at 157 pounds; No. 9 redshirt sophomore Logan Massa topped No. 14 Te'Shan Campbell at 165 pounds; and redshirt sophomore and No. 6 Myles Amine upended No. 3 Bo Jordan, last year's NCAA finalist, in a buzzer-beating triumph at 174 pounds to also extract revenge for a Decem- ber loss. However, Michigan saved its best for last, when No. 2-ranked heavyweight and redshirt senior Adam Coon (inset) did the unthinkable by beating No. 1 Kyle Snyder, the reigning three-time Olympic/world champion and two-time NCAA Tournament titlist, who had not lost a college bout since the national finals of his rookie season in 2015.
