WOLF10 No Appointment Necessary ~ Open Seven Days a Week Official NC Inspection Station ® team All-American by the Associated Press, was drafted in the fifth round by the Pittsburgh Steelers and nearly set a franchise rookie record when he ran for 142 yards in a week 15 win over eventual Super Bowl champion New England, finishing four yards off Bam Morris' mark. Eric Shute OL 0 Well-regarded recruit redshirted in 2014 and then gave up football. Michael Stevens CB 28 One of the last additions to the class after switch - ing his pledge from Kansas State, Stevens played as a true freshman and then started most of the next three years. Finished with 83 tackles, 18 passes broken up and three picks, and earned an NFL tryout with the Carolina Panthers. Kentavius Street DE 34 The headliner of the class had a solid career at NC State. Finished with 122 tackles, 25.5 stops for loss, 9.5 sacks, 11 QB pressures, two forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries and seven passes broken up. Despite tearing his ACL in draft preparations, was still picked in the fourth round by the San Francisco 49ers in 2018. Marcelias Sutton RB 0 The lone member of the class to never make it to cam - pus. Enrolled at Lackawanna Junior College in Scranton, Pa., with the intention of re-signing with NC State, but an offer from Oklahoma changed his mind. Ran 51 times for 282 yards and four touchdowns in two years with the Sooners. Micah Till TE 0 Never played for the Pack after being dismissed from the team as a redshirt freshman. Ended up playing basket- ball at Slippery Rock, where he averaged 21.2 points and 11.2 rebounds per game for the Division II school over the past two seasons (has one more year left). Maurice Trowell WR/CB 8 Flashed big-play potential as a redshirt freshman in 2015 when he caught 12 passes for 210 yards and two scores, including an 83-yard TD at Boston College that is the ninth-longest pass play in school history. Struggled to build off that year (nine receptions for 149 yards and a TD in 2016, but none the following season), and moved to corner as a fifth-year senior. Averaged 22.0 yards per kickoff return in 2018. Troy Vincent CB 0 Flipped from Penn State before signing day and played two seasons, almost all on special teams, before leaving the team. Eventually ended up at Towson, where he started one game in 2018 and has one more year of eligibility left. Dexter Wright S 15 The athletically gifted Wright started all 13 games in 2018 during his fifth-year senior season. Finished his career with 79 stops, four tackles for loss, five passes broken up and an interception, but may be most remem - bered for scoring the only touchdown (off a blocked punt) against Notre Dame in Raleigh in a 10-3 win during Hurricane Matthew. Received an NFL tryout with the Houston Texans. The Final Grade: A + Since the start of Pack football in 1892, NC State has recorded back-to-back nine-win seasons just three times. The class of 2014 played a central role in the Wolfpack achieving that feat in 2017 and 2018, and produced talent rarely seen at NC State. Punter A.J. Cole's career average of 42.4 yards per attempt ranks third on the school's all- time list. PHOTO BY GREGG FORWERCK/NC STATE ATHLETICS
