Because he has had two season-ending injuries, he is a likely candidate for a medical redshirt and sixth year of eligibility, but that's not likely in the cards. "I don't plan on using it," he said. That means this is his last hur- rah in an Irish uniform — an op- portunity many outside of the pro- gram weren't sure he'd ever get. But Crawford has put himself in a posi- tion to succeed and help the team, all while overcoming three seemingly insurmountable obstacles along the way. ✦ Crawford has battled back from three season-ending injuries to earn a role in the Irish secondary this year.
