EADING INTO THE 2019‑20
season, Jocelyn Willoughby,
a fourth-year guard from East
Orange, N.J., is one of the
most decorated Virginia wom-
en's basketball players in years.
During the 2018-19 season, she also led
the Wahoos in both scoring (14.9 points per
game) and rebounding (8.2). She was the
first UVA player to accomplish this feat
since Monica Wright in 2010. She ranked
13th in the ultra-competitive ACC in scoring
and seventh in rebounding.
Last year's success resulted in Wil-
loughby being named to the watch list for
the 2020 Ann Meyers Drysdale Award,
which goes to the nation's top shooting
guard, and earning a spot on the preseason
All-ACC squad.
She's already off to a hot start in 2019-20,
