basketball recruiting Derrick does the same thing. Derrick can shoot it, maybe the same length as Trey, but that comes in due time and with confidence. "He's going to bring the same tenacity. He's going to give 100 percent. He's just going to be ready to go. Derrick may be an inch or so taller. If Derrick has to put the ball in the basket, he'll put the ball in the basket. He's a pass-first point guard, but he can also put the ball in the basket. It's the best of both worlds." His competitiveness also helps him on the defensive end, Walton Sr. said. He hates to lose, and he'll do whatever he can to avoid it. "With his IQ, sometimes he could tend to get away with things a little bit," Walton Sr. said. "But when it gets down to it, he's actually quicker than what people think he is and stronger than what people think he is. "He can play the passing lanes. That's one thing we worked on when he was a young kid. If you can see it and you can read it, you're going to be good. He's pretty good at it. I'm really blessed to be in this position." Booker added, "Missouri is coming hard and Michigan, Florida, North Carolina and Stanford, they're all coming hard, too." He doesn't plan to decide until fall. More schools are also courting Indianapolis Park Tudor 2014 forward Trevon Bluiett (6-5, No. 46 player in the country).
