That didn't prevent the St. Louis Rams from offering him a four-year, $34 million contract when the Dolphins essentially decided to move on without him, offering him only a team-friendly contract. Long plans to reward the Rams' confidence. "I'm feeling great. I'm about four months out of surgery," Long said in early April at his introductory press conference. "Feeling strong. Working real hard. I'm just ready to get back on the field and get all this rehab stuff behind me. "It was definitely frustrating.
