inside michigan athletics Getting To Know Men's Swimmer Zack Turk Zack Turk, a graduate student at Michigan, was part of the Wolverines' national champion 200-yard medley relay team and a four-time All-American in 2013 (200-yard freestyle relay, 400-yard freestyle relay, 200-yard medley relay, 400-yard medley relay). The Wolverines won the national championship this season. Nickname: "A lot of the guys call me Turkey." Favorite Place To Hang Out On Campus: "I like to sit in the Michigan Union. That's a cool place to go and either do homework or hang out with people." Favorite Restaurant In Ann Arbor: "I really enjoy going down to Main Street, when I can get the funds together, but for some quick food, Big Ten Burrito is definitely my favorite. I go there all the time." Dream Vacation: "There are so many places I want to go. I studied abroad in both Europe and South America, so I would want to go to a different continent. I have always wanted to travel around Southeast Asia. I love traveling, and I have always wanted to spend some time over there." On Studying Abroad: "I did my undergraduate work at Kenyon College and spent a year abroad. I did three months in Barcelona, Spain, to work at the U.S. Embassy, and I spent a year in Buenos Aires, Argentina, to go to Turk, a graduate student at Michigan, was part of the Wolverines' national champion 200-yard medley relay team and a fourtime All-American in 2013. photo courtesy u of m photography school.
