It might also be the most overrated
subject of the Fighting Irish spring.
Kelly and Martin first combined
forces at Grand Valley State in 2000.
Shortly thereafter the Lakers went
from a proverbially solid and yearly
8‑3, 7‑4 program to a Division II dynasty with a 115-9 mark and four national titles from 2001-09.
