The 6-4, 230-pound prospect will take an official visit to South Bend Oct. 18 for the Notre Dame-USC matchup. The 6-1, 200-pound prospect will visit Michigan for its matchup against Notre Dame Sept. 7, and then Smith will be in South Bend for his Notre La Mirada, Calif., product Tyler Dame official visit later this year. One aspect working in favor of the Irish is that his cousin plans to attend Notre Dame on an academic scholarship.
