Be A Keystone For 2014 Class

back Elijah Hood made his second
visit to South Bend during the final
commitment profile

weekend of April. He met with the
Irish coaches and academic counselors. He showed his parents the campus he had seen and loved in late February. He rid himself of any lasting
doubt that Notre Dame was the place
where he wanted to play college football.
Hood returned to his home in North
Carolina and committed to the Irish
that night. The following day, he set
about alleviating doubts for a crew of
other top prospects on the 2014 Irish
wish list.
He took to Twitter to try to strike
up excitement and relationships with
some of the players he hopes will become future teammates. He had dig-
