who's a junior forward at Penn State. He's collected plenty of information on both those programs. Despite a coaching overhaul at Minnesota, which is just blocks from Travis' home, the local institution remains a major player in the dual-sport prospect's recruitment. He has spent a lot of time on campus and around new head coach Richard Pitino. Travis also appreciates what he sees from the Irish. "I liked the way Notre Dame played this past year," he said. "I met with Coach [Mike] Brey during the year, so I looked into their offense more and the school. I'm very interested." Other than Iowa and Minnesota, Big Ten schools such as Northwestern and Michigan State are making pushes for Travis' services as well. He's gone on record saying he'd like to play close to home, but as more and more offers roll in, he's keeping an open mind. There are visits to Gonzaga and Stanford (both offered) coming up, and the possibility of playing in the ACC with the Irish is attractive to him. "It definitely intrigues me," he said. "You want to play against the best, and you want to be the best. That's how you get better. "That league change is definitely an upside." and extended a scholarship offer on April 24. Robinson, a 6‑7 junior forward at Christchurch School in Virginia, is ranked as the No. 5 prospect in the state, the No. 25 player at his position nationally and the No. 109 overall player in the class by 247Sports. Robinson left Manchester High for Christchuch, where he reclassified as a junior, this past year. Irish assistant coach Rod Balanis was in Pittsburgh and reported back to Brey about Robinson's multifaceted assault at the event, which included stroking three-pointers, blocking shots, owning the offensive glass and even creating his own looks off the dribble.
