The early projections show just 12 openings, though more will eventually sign with natural attrition from the U-M roster over the next two years. 2015 Corner Shaun Crawford Favors The Maize And Blue Prior to Michigan's annual summer camp, Lakewood (Ohio) St, Edward defensive back Shaun Crawford was the odds-on favorite to become the first member of the 2015 Wolverine recruiting class. The 5-9, 165-pounder was not shy about proclaiming Michigan his favorite when he received a Wolverines offer May 8. In fact, he implied that he might pull the trigger soon. "It was tempting [to commit], but I just want to get home and talk to my parents about it first," Crawford said. "They also love Michigan, love the school and the campus. We'll talk about it, and it's definitely a choice that I might make in the near future." Following his participation in Michigan's summer camp in mid-June, Crawford changed his tune slightly. He still planned to make an early decision, but he also wanted to see his other childhood favorite, Miami, prior to making a choice. Since returning from Miami, Crawford has backed off his early decision timeframe. He now plans to take unofficial visits to Michigan, Notre Dame, and others this fall before narrowing his list and making his official pledge.
