Nearly the entire Elk‑ ton (Md.) Eastern Christian Academy football team was along, but the 6‑2, 170-pound Canteen held the distinc‑ tion of being the highest-ranked 2014 prospect from the burgeoning pow‑ erhouse. The four-star has earned the distinction as Rivals.com's No. 43 wide receiver in the country. That's saying something, given the recent history of the program. The 2013 class saw two players commit to the University of Southern California, including five-star defensive tackle Kenny Bigelow (and 2015 quarter‑ back David Sills has already given the Trojans his pledge, as well). Though small, the school has top talent. It should come as little surprise then, that Canteen accomplished his goal of earning a Michigan offer. "I just showed pretty much every‑ thing I do: route running, technique, speed and discipline," he explained. "I'm always putting in work."
