basketball recruiting right now is coming at me very hard," he said. Asked specifically about Michigan, he responded, "That's a school that works hard with their bigs and produces them. They show that they can play on the court, so that means a lot." Thomas listed Florida, Ohio State, Georgetown, Kentucky, Louisville, Texas A&M, Texas, Baylor, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Indiana, Alabama and LSU as those that had offered, noting he would wait until his senior year to decide. Sedrick Barefield (6-2, Rivals.com's No. 58 junior nationally): He's a standout at Corona (Calif.) Centennial — some on the West Coast compare the 6-2, 180-pound Barefield to Trey Burke. UCLA, Michigan, Arizona and others are involved, while San Jose State and Fresno State recently offered. "My strength is getting up and down the court and scoring. My transition game is really good," Barefield said. "I'm a good shooter, and my on-ball defending has improved a lot since last year." Barefield averaged 15.6 points and 5.1 assists per game during his sophomore campaign. "I just love the coaching staff, the way they play," he said of Michigan. "I'm a big fan of Trey Burke. I feel I could fit in with the success he had there. I pattern my game after him." ❏ 2014 U-M Calendars Action Calendar Item #1180 (Pictured Left) $15.99 + S&H Vintage Calendar Note: Both Calendars Available Late August Pre-Order Yours Today!
