Triumvirate At The Top?
New Orleans St. Augustine tailback Leonard Fournette, the nation's No. 3 player according
to Rivals.com, claims legitimate interest in U-M.
I
n Paramus (N.J.) Catholic five-star
cornerback Jabrill Peppers, Michigan's coaches have a pledge from
the No. 2 player nationally according
to Rivals.com. No program has ever
reeled in Rivals.com's top two players
nationally, but Michigan is in good
position to do just that.
The Wolverines are in excellent
shape to land Woodbridge (Va.) High
defensive end Da'Shawn Hand, who
is the nation's top prep prospect.
There has been some shakeup among
his favorites — he dropped Virginia
Tech and South Carolina from his
top five, and now holds a top three

Florida — but the Wolverines have
been the constant.
While Hand doesn't claim that the
Wolverines top his list, he has eliminated the previous toughest competition, Virginia Tech. He plans to officially visit Ann Arbor for the Notre
Dame game Sept. 7.
That's not all, either. While the
chances are lower with New Orleans
St. Augustine tailback Leonard Fournette, the country's third-best player
also claims legitimate interest in the
Wolverines. Fournette plans to visit
Ann Arbor — either officially or unofficially — whenever he gets the
opportunity.
