his preferences quiet. While there
was no secret that Michigan, Ohio
State and hometown favorite Pitts‑
burgh were his final three schools by
the time he made his college decision
on June 1, few knew which he would
pick. The Panthers received his last
visit and have a long history with his
high school, but Winovich spurned
Pitt for Maize and Blue pastures.
