Jaeger's two national championships helped the Wolverines win their first NCAA team national championship since 1995. He has also made an impact on a global level, competing in the 2012 London Olympic Games, where he placed sixth in the 1,500-meter freestyle. This summer, Jaeger will once again compete for Team USA. He has been selected to participate in the FINA World Championships July 20-27 in Barcelona, Spain. Nickname: "'Crazy Eyes.' I wear these clear goggles that make me look, No. 1, like a 12-year-old when I swim. Also, you can see my eyes perfectly, and I just look outrageous when I'm racing. Everyone looks a little crazy when they race, but when I'm in those clear, tilted goggles, it is a pretty funny look." Favorite Hangout Spot In Ann Arbor: "I really like the hill next to The Big House. It has a really nice view of the whole campus, and it's a nice place to go and hang out and unwind." Favorite Restaurant In Ann Arbor: "NYPD Pizza. They have a great chicken parmesan sub sandwich over there." Best Meal He Can Cook By Himself: "Pulled pork sandwiches." Favorite Class He's Taken At Michigan: "I took a design engineering class where the whole class was a project. We built a remote-controlled car that would compete in a game where it collected balls around a course. That was a ton of fun." Other Sports He Enjoys Playing: "When I was younger, I played lacrosse for a couple years, and I played baseball for a while. Nowadays, it's mostly ultimate Frisbee, if we have some free time."
