Augie Busch ◆ Swimming and Diving
The former mentor of Houston's women's swimming and
diving team for the past two
years was hired as the new head
coach of the Cavaliers' men's and
women's programs on July 10.
Busch led the Cougars to a
fourth-place finish in Conference
USA in 2012, and they achieved
a program-best second-place showing this past
season. Under the 37-year-old coach, the Cougars
clocked personal-best times in 90 percent of their
swims and broke seven school records, while also
recording a program-best 3.42 team GPA outside
of the pool.
Morgan Moses ◆ Football
The 6-6, 335-pound fourthyear offensive tackle made the
preseason watch lists for both
the Outland Trophy (nation's top
interior lineman) and the Rotary Lombardi Award (nation's
top lineman or linebacker). The
native of Richmond, Va., has also been named a
