As part of the University's Reunions Weekend, the Virginia Athletics Foundation hosted a Student-Athlete Alumni Reception on Friday, June 7 at John Paul Jones Arena. Student-athlete alumni mingled with current coaches while enjoying hors d'oeuvres and deejay entertainment. Director of Athletics Craig Littlepage welcomed the crowd, showed a 2012-13 Virginia Athletics highlight video and asked current head and assistant coaches to formally introduce themselves. Head men's lacrosse coach Dom Starsia addressed the audience on behalf of the athletics department to express appreciation for the alumni's continued support and involvement. Student-athlete alumni received Cavs for Life t-shirts and koozie keepsakes, and were encouraged to return to Charlottesville for the 8th Annual All-Sports Reunion the weekend of Oct. 25-27.
