Jones, who stands at 6-2, 224 pounds, said that Penn State is one of the schools recruiting him the hardest. The others are Florida, Maryland, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Virginia and Virginia Tech. As for Robinson, this was his third visit to Penn State since April and his first game in Beaver Stadium. Ranked No. 178 in the nation, he is one of the best edge rushers in the region for 2024. He said the experience was unlike any- thing he'd previously seen. "That all-stadium White Out is crazy," he said. "I loved it. The atmo- sphere was electric from beginning to end. It never died down." Upgrading the offensive line also re- mains a priority for Penn State. Overall, about a half-dozen offensive linemen were in attendance, including four-star twin brothers Deontae and Devontae Armstrong of St. Edward in Cleveland. Both brothers were recently ranked in the On300, which was announced in mid-October. Deontae was at No. 268, while Devontae was at No. 300. "The atmosphere was electric from the first snap of the ball to the last," De- ontae Armstrong said. "It's always great seeing the other recruits I've developed a relationship with there at the game, and the Penn State coaches, too, of course. "I thought they dominated, and a decent amount of the credit has to go to the crowd. Minnesota's line jumped offsides more than once, and as a player, I know those kinds of errors and mental mistakes really affect game play as a whole." The brothers have now visited Penn State more than any other school. Cin- cinnati, Kentucky, Michigan State and Pittsburgh are a few others in the mix. Their high school teammate, Ben Roebuck, also is a priority target for offensive line coach Phil Trautwein and the entire staff. Listed at 6-7, 340 pounds Roebuck attended the Blue- White Game in April, making this his second visit. The three-star prospect said he's become close with Penn State 2024 commit Cooper Cousins through the recruiting process. "I love the atmosphere that Happy Valley has," Roebuck said. "It was so loud. I couldn't even hear the person next to me. I had a lot of fun seeing a couple other recruits I had met on other visits, one of those being Cooper Cous- ins, who I've become very good friends with." Although 2025 seems far off, there were also a handful of notable sopho- more prospects in attendance, too, none more important than Philadelphia na- tive Anthony Sacca. The son of former Nittany Lions quarterback Tony Sacca, Anthony is a four-star linebacker and is on pace to be one of the nation's most sought-after players in the class. Geor- gia, Michigan, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Tennessee and Texas A&M are just a few of the top schools to already offer him. ■ C L A S S O F 2 0 2 3 C O M M I T M E N T S N A M E P O S H T W T R A T I N G * H O M E S C H O O L Mathias Barnwell Ath. 6-5 250 ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fredericksburg, Va.
