Zack Ladd (BS '58) is pictured with two mem- bers of his family — great-grandson Emmett Colt Earp (above), born on Sept. 22, 2022, and great-grandson David Thomas Ladd (below), born Aug. 25, 2022. Emmett is the grandson of Debbie Ladd Gunn (BS '80), while David is the grandson of Ernie Ladd (BA '81). Debbie is the great-aunt of David, while Ernie is the great-uncle of Emmett. Other Wolfpackers in the family include great-uncle Doug Z. Ladd (BS '85), and cousins Mary-Ann Ladd (BS '15) and Monica Ladd Burke (BS '17). Lawrence Ray Whitby came into this world on Feb. 15, 2023, just in time to see the Wolf- pack beat UNC in women's basketball, men's basketball and wrestling all in one week! His parents are Mary ('14, '16) and Caleb Whitby ('15), Aunt Sarah Bouquin ('13, '14), Aunt Elizabeth Autry ('08), Uncle Nate Bouquin ('16), Grandaddy Lawrence Rawls ('82) and Wolfpack Club member Papa Ray Whitby are all very proud! All properties donated to the Wolfpack Club and the proceeds of a sale will be used for scholarships and/or Athletic Department Capital projects.
