JULY/AUGUST 2024 ■ 11 TRACKING THE PACK yards and 10 touchdowns on 114 carries as a junior at Ware County High. Listed in the On3 Industry Ranking as the No. 72 running back nationally and No. 100 prospect in Georgia, Boyd vis- ited NC State the weekend of June 14-16 and committed a week later. "They showed me everything that I wanted to see, plus they made my par- ents feel comfortable," he said. The last commitment of June 23 came from Bolder. He's listed in the On3 In- dustry Ranking as the No. 68 wide re- ceiver and No. 415 prospect nationally, as well as the No. 11 player in North Car- olina. Georgia had been pursuing him, and he nearly pledged to the Bulldogs after taking an official visit to Athens in mid-June. However, he traveled to NC State the following weekend and com- mitted at the end of his trip to the Pack. Earlier in June, Browder and Gordon committed within three days of each other. The two players both attend San- taluces Community High and went into the recruiting process looking to sign with the same school. Rated the No. 116 wide receiver na- tionally and No. 95 player in Florida, Browder was the first to give NC State a pledge, choosing it on June 9 over Lou- isville, Syracuse and Pitt. As a junior, the 6-4, 205-pound wideout caught 39 passes for 730 yards and 14 touchdowns, averaging 18.7 yards per catch. He said he's looking forward to continuing his development under NC State receivers coach Joker Phillips and the rest of the staff. "They told me they'll give me the platform, and all I've got to do is per- form," he said. On June 12, Gordon joined him in the Wolfpack's class. He had switched from receiver to cornerback last year and finished his junior season with 16 tackles and an interception. Listed at 6-1, 170 pounds, he's the No. 93 cor- nerback nationally and No. 134 prospect in Florida in the On3 Industry Ranking. On3's scouts have him rated signifi- cantly higher, listing Gordon No. 51 at his position and No. 59 in Florida. Coach Dave Doeren and his staff landed another defensive back the fol- lowing week when Strong chose the Pack over West Virginia and Georgia Tech. Listed at 6-1, 170 pounds, Strong is the No. 64 cornerback nationally and No. 14 prospect in South Carolina, per the Industry Ranking. Strong also held offers from Virginia Tech, Duke and Michigan State, but he felt he would be a good fit in the Pack's defensive scheme. He called NC State "the obvious choice." Before the official visit period be- gan in late May, the Wolfpack received a commitment from three-star safety Tristan Teasdell of Leesburg, Va. Teas- dell, who stands 6-1, 180 pounds, joined the class on May 4, choosing the Pack over Pitt, Duke and Minnesota. Listed as the No. 84 safety nationally, he had taken an unofficial visit in early April for the spring game and came away im- pressed. "As soon as I stepped on campus, I just felt something," he said. As of June 24, NC State's class was rated 49th nationally by On3 and 13th in the ACC. ■ 2025 Football Commitments Name Pos Ht Wt Rating* Home School Omarian Abraham DL 6-2 280 — Fort Lauderdale, Fla.
