Houston, Texas. What college did you graduate from? I went to Louisiana Tech, where I was a student-athlete. I played football and baseball there as a pitcher and a long snapper. … I got my master's in sport administration from LSU. What are your responsibilities with the Wolfpack Club? I am the as- sociate director of major gifts, and cur- rently I manage a group of donors and contributors to NC State athletics. I have a portfolio that covers the Raleigh area and the Triad region of High Point, Winston-Salem and Greensboro. I have a pretty big hand in traveling out there. I also do quite a bit with our Red Wolf So- ciety and was part of a team that helped get that off the ground. What did you do before joining the Wolfpack Club? I was at Colorado State, and I was in a similar role there as a major gift officer. How did you get started at the Wolfpack Club? I knew Ben [Brous- sard, the club's executive director] via some people that I used to work for, and I had chatted with him while he was out at Colorado. We bounced ideas off one an- other. We weren't super big rivals, and we also kind of knew each other from the Louisiana ties. We built and maintained our relation- ship, and then when this job presented itself, it was an absolute no-brainer. It was a huge goal of mine to come work for Ben, see- ing the success he's had in the industry and the name that he had built for himself. I just knew the type of man he was — a good father, good husband and well-respected in our industry. What's your favorite part of the job? I am probably the biggest NC State supporter out of anybody. I love seeing our student-athletes suc- ceed and the success we've had, not only in the class- room, but also on the field of play and on the court. Pets? A black Lab named Sunny. What are your hob- bies? Traveling with my wife and son, hunting, playing bad golf and mow- ing the grass. Favorite TV show: Anything NC State-related. F a v o r i t e m o v i e : "Happy Gilmore." Favorite musical art- ist: Sturgill Simpson. Favorite restaurant: Players' Retreat. Favorite Wolfpack memory: Go- ing to the Final Four is tough to beat, and I really, really enjoyed sitting in the arena when we beat Carolina for the ACC championship.
