errick Moore gets a shot at join-
ing an elite group of Wolverines in
his final season this fall. He could
attend future Michigan football
reunions and proudly proclaim: I never
once lost to the Buckeyes.
Don't believe for a second he hasn't
thought about it.
The senior edge rusher harbors even
higher goals, of course. There are cham-
pionships to win, and a victory over Ohio
State no longer makes getting one a vir-
tual lock. But never bowing to the team
with nuts on their helmets and more in
the stands certainly factors into the big
picture.
"I think about that a lot," he acknowl-
edged. "Going into my final year at
Michigan, there's a lot on my mind. Not

To Make His Last Season Count
Moore heads into his senior season with
momentum, following his wrecking-ball per-
formance — 4 tackles, 2 sacks and a fumble
recovery — in the ReliaQuest Bowl win over Ala-
bama. A two-time All-Big Ten honorable men-
tion selection, he has played in 41 games with
12 starts during his three seasons at Michigan.
